Word on the grapevine is that Leslie Codd has made a big investment in his mushroom operation down in the south of the country.
As reported on Fresh Info.com, Irish mushroom firm Codd Mushrooms, based in County Carlow, has invested €3 million (£2.7m) in an automated production unit.
That’s a whopping great outlay - there’s a man that’s showing confidence in the future direction of the Irish Mushroom industry.
