There has been some confusion over the use of the disinfectant product Prophyl in the mushroom marketplace. J.F. McKenna Ltd who are the sole distributors for Prophyl were puzzled by some customer’s reluctance to use the product because it was not displayed on the website of the Pesticide Control Service.
Upon investigation by the diligent sleuths at J.F.McKenna, it transpired that the reason that the product was not displayed on the website was purely because of a technical hitch at the Dept.
Unfortunately J.F.McKenna were not able to ascertain as to when this glitch will be rectified, but they can assure all customers that Prophyl is a totally legitimate product which is fully licensed and registered with the Pesticide Control Service. The Pesticide Control Service registration number for Prophyl is 93133.
