Michelle Obama served mushroom risotto for homeless folk at a soup kitchen blocks from White House early in March.
The glamorous new first lady, or FLOTUS, as the secret service might refer to her, was the mystery server at a lunch for the homeless. Her presence was a surprise for the people there for lunch.
The fruit salad also was made with donations of food from White House workers. The first lady said times are tough and plenty of people need a helping hand. She said if someone cannot donate food or money, they should donate time instead. It’s good to see that those at the top have time for those at the bottom.
