Once again in the USA they have come up with another mushroom promo that catches the eye.
National Stuffed Mushroom Day: Feb 4. It’s a bit bonkers, but it does stick in the mind. The blurb is fun and not stuffy (pardon the pun).
“ These fleshy, spore baring fruit are great for stuffing with all kinds of goodies from cheese to snails. Button, portabella's and baby bellas are best used for stuffing.
The smaller mushrooms are suitable for parties and get-togethers, whereas the large ones are great for a meal. I like to stuff them with a crab meat stuffing and broil them. Add a splash of lemon juice before eating and enjoy. If you are not a mushroom fan, tomorrow is another day!”
For some reason Stalker cannot see it catching on in Ireland, but hey you never know.
