GREEN SHOOTS?

Not all gloom and doom. Stalker has heard some mushroom personnel saying they see things as brighter this year than last.

An Irish motivational guru has banned any talk of recession as he sees it as a self confirming belief.

Stalker reckons that’s not a bad idea, but  not mentioning the R word is difficult in these difficult times.

The latest phrase Stalker has read is "Steamroller recession".

One supposes that we should all look upon the tough times as a challenge rather than a catastrophe.

  There’s a Monty Python tune that springs to mind that we could all go about singing!
