COLD SNAP

Stalker was shivering away like everyone else in the last few weeks of January.

The cold snap when it came was hard and fast. Snow like we haven’t seen for a long time was nearly a novelty.

Remarking on the temperature plummet to one Dutch colleague, the latter replied that in Holland it had been minus 24 the week previous.

That shut Stalker up! Pretty damn cold indeed it must have been in The Netherlands. Was it good weather for growing mushrooms one wondered.

Was it good weather for doing anything other than keeping warm?
