The company's new product Sun Bella is advertised as the first mushrooms to be presented on the market to give a full day Vitamin D quota for an adult in a 3 ounce serving.
Their newest fresh mushrooms provide at least 100% of the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) of Vitamin D in a single, three-ounce serving (about four or five mushrooms) through a natural sun ripening process.
Stalker is amazed that mushrooms would go through a sun-ripening process - sounds more like a process for ripening a tomato. Stalker is intrigued about the new product and wonders how long it will be before the new mushroom is marketed on this side of the pond.
