Stalker has been keeping an eye on BBC2 over the summer for the new ag-mag programme that is Jimmy Doherty's Farming Heroes, just in case a mushroom grower might get a mention.
Lo and behold on the programme aired on Tuesday 19 August Stalker's many hours glued to the goggle box were rewarded.
Jimmy ended up chatting to organic mushroom grower Mark Komatsu in Bradford on Avon. Readers may remember that an article about Mark and his growing operation appeared on these pages in the September 2006 issue.
His organic crimini mushrooms had been highlighted in a massive advertising campaign by UK supermarket Waitrose. The item was very informative about mycelia growth and the "shock" required to get the mushrooms growing.
The whole series thus far has been very watchable and very informative on the whole issue of food production throughout the UK.
Getting a plug for the fresh produce on prime time telly is of course a bonus - here's hoping it translates into increased demand.
