Further to Stalker's musings on the Olympics and mushrooms last month - Stalker was pleasantly surprised to spot a mushroom theme in the Equestrian Eventing competition in Hong Kong.
Along with the Pagodas jump and the chopsticks jump on the cross country stage of the event, there was also a very fancy mushroom jump.
Just goes to show how important the little old fungus is in the imaginations of the Chinese organisers of the event. Watching the equine beauties jump over the mushroom barrier was a little surreal it must be said - but it added to the sense of fun at the Games.
Stalker was amused by this little snippet of info from the pre-Olympic build up.
A team of translators were correcting Beijing's English language menus, renaming such dishes as "husband and wife's lung slice" and "crap in the grass" - now there's a dish best served cold!
