The sudden death of Amycel UK Managing Director John Garlick on June 13th has come as a shock to many within the mushroom industry in Ireland, the UK and around the world.
John was known the world over and was a very well liked and respected individual. As head of Amycel in the UK he steered the spawn company through the choppy times of the last decade with unerring business acumen.
He was always gracious and good natured in his dealings and he will be sorely missed within industry circles.
The Mushroom People extend their condolences to the family and friends of this true gentleman.
