It's that not often that one sees the reporting on the effects of medicinal mushrooms in the mainstream press.
The good researcher's final recommendation: "As much as we might like to believe that these mushrooms will benefit cancer patients, caution is warranted until evidence is provided to show how this can be done safely and effectively."
A very prudent sentiment there.
Overall though, the tone of his article was pretty much positive in relation to the beneficial effects of the mushrooms used as medicines.
