Robot inventor John Reuvers in the Netherlands is still on the look out for interested parties in relation to the new mushroom picking robot that he is developing.
In recent communication with The Mushroom People he reiterated the need for mushroom enterprises to actually get involved with the robotic creators: "With the right constructor the robot could be ready for marketing within six months. However, in my proposition the mushroom growers must show the interest. I will not develop and invest without interest. So, at this moment I wait. I think it is a great pity for the mushroom sector."
In relation to the Dutch mushroom sector Reuvers is aware that the sector is not exactly vibrant at the moment. Hence any interest from technical bods in the UK or Ireland with an eye to helping get the picking robot into production would be very welcome too.
Stalker is sure that there is some bright spark out there who can see the potential in this new picking robot and has the technical nous to help make it a reality.
