It's no surprise to read that 70 per cent of businesses canvassed in the North on whether they favour entry into the new currency zone, respond in the affirmative.
A poll by the Chamber of Commerce, which has around 4,000 member businesses in the North, firmly indicates that business support for early entry into the euro is very strong.
Manufacturing companies polled at 77 per cent in favour, while service sector businesses expressed at 68 per cent in favour. Looks like the euro-philes have it.
