Monaghan Mushrooms were getting a mention in the South of England last month, with the new use of one of their farms in Bristol. The ex-mushroom farm is being used as a car park for Bristol airport.
However the scheme has run into some difficulties. One eagle eyed opponent of the scheme spotted that the farm had been advertised as a car park before any planning permission for such use had even been submitted to the local council.
Stalker supposes that for Monaghan Mushrooms, the tack to take is that there is no such thing as bad publicity.
It all seems a million miles away from the Irish mushroom industry and the woes that currently beset it.
