In the North, they ask politicians to go that extra mile to secure an accord – Brendan McKenna took this expression more than literally. He travelled the highways and byways to distant Kenmare in County Kerry to endorse his cross-border relationship with Julie O'Shea on August 11th. Many guests joined them for the celebrations, including most of the JF McKenna Ltd office staff, leaving numbers thin on the ground back at HQ. Everyone enjoyed the day with some guests too afraid of sleeping-in the next morning, deciding not to go to bed at all. The happy couple are now honeymooning down-under in Oz and are no doubt enjoying the start of their married life. We wish them well for the future.
