HARD PRICE-UPS

The price of straw is still very high due to the scarcity of supply in Ireland.

Some compost producers have sourced consignments of straw from across the water, which of course adds to the pricing!

Consequently the price for compost has been going up and will apparently continue to do so.

None of the compost producers in the country can avoid price increases when the cost of the raw material goes through the roof.

Growers are of course forewarned, fore-armed and also forlorn at the price increases.
