Prices for the fresh produce took a dip in the January and February period. Prices had previously been buoyant leading up to the festive period, but as usual a slump in demand has stymied hopes of the good prices lasting. The situation seems to obtain all over Europe, with the market in Ukraine exhibiting similar tendencies. It seems as though this is the time of year that could most do with a produce promotion boost. The more consumers hear of mushrooms as superfoods and healthy foods, the more likely they are to keep buying them.
