There are now over 2.3m vehicles on Irish roads, a startling number of cars.
The number of cars and other vehicles on Irish roads has nearly doubled in the past decade.
Also news has been confirmed that one of the most expensive cars in the world the Bugatti Veyron will be coming to Ireland early this year.
A specialist car company in Galway has confirmed that it has one on order for an unnamed Irish customer. The prestigious motor, capable of 400km/h, will be a sight to behold on Irish roads - chockablock as they are.
There is no official pricing for the car in Ireland as yet either, bu the price tag may well reach at least Euro1.2 million.
Only 300 of the supercars are being built by Bugatti, in conjunction with the parent company Volkswagen. Stalker would suspect that some begrudgers might call it an overblown Beetle, however the all wheel drive Veyron, the most powerful and most expensive production car of all time, is sure to have folk agape.
The fuel stats for the car would be enough to leave anyone with their mouth open - at about 5.82 mpg in urban driving, and around 10 mpg for combined driving. If driven at full speed, its range would be a mere 80 kilometers, with its 100-litre fuel tank emptying in just 12.5 minutes.
What a beastie!
One can imagine a certain mushroom magnate in one - it would be a very Ron Veyron
