DARD invited growers on a tour of the Sylvan factory and also offered the chance for two separate farm walks in Co Meath in December.
The two farms that were visited were those belonging to Shane McKenna and Martin Doyle. Growers who attended the factory tour were well impressed by the Sylvan set up. Appreciation of the farm owners was also expressed.
