Trandragee Compost's Oliver McCann has laid down the mike. Oliver gave his last racing commentary at a meet in Armagh on the 24th of November.
The point to point expert's dulcet tones will no longer be heard at racecourses round the country, except of course at normal levels. To be sure Oliver won't be foregoing the pleasure of the meet, only the thrill of the commentator's exalted position.
