Stalker’s compost spies have been noting a bizarre trend of late in some mushroom houses.
It would appear that some growers are not at all too worried about checking the compost temperatures – that higher temperatures than are recommended are not problematic.
Not so, say the experts!
The advice is, keep a close eye on compost temperatures; and the method? Simple, use the temperature probe.
The message seems uncomplicated – keep on probing!
