Launching a new booklet in the south on food safety, the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development stated that there is no inherent contradiction between the interests of farmers and consumers.
Mr Walsh said that today's consumer had high expectations of the food and farming sector. The booklet is entitled - "The Safe Food Chain - Every Link Is Vital".
