The First Industries Fund -- Agriculture Planning Grants passed a grant for a study to determine if obtaining industrially important enzymes from spent mushroom substrate is a viable business.
The company endowed was the Ellesworth Co., Inc. for the amount of US $175,000. The company is located in Franklin, Chester.
Perhaps they will come up with something that proves useful to the mushroom industry on this side of the pond.
