DARD man Steve Sturgeon, well known in mushroom circles, got a surprising phone call over the summer.
Steve was being called by a compost technical rep on a matter of mushrooming advice.
Steve, normally the most obliging of sorts, had to tell the rep that he wasn’t prepared come to his aid! Shocked rep wondered why? Steve managed to placate the rep with his answer – “I’m Lying on the beach in Lanzarote!”
