Exploration company Conroy Diamonds and Gold has struck a prominent gold bearing structure at its Tivnacree site in Co. Armagh it was reported in late August.
The company recently restarted excavations at the site, which it regards as a "significant discovery in a previously untested area".
In a statement from the company directors it was announced that the gold values in the rock chip samples from the site were "highly encouraging".
Stalker will soon be heading off to Armagh with tools and panning apparatus, hoping to beat the gold rush.
Could it possibly be a more lucrative venture than ploughing the furrow that is the mushroom industry?
