One Tyrone grower was hit by the increasing plight that is oil thieving.
This phenomenon has been reported the length and breadth of the country, and has increased in frequency in the North quite dramatically of late.
The grower had his oil tank emptied and was totally gob smacked by the careless nature of the thieves in their actions.
It is in everyone's interests to keep an eye out for this type of theft – the perps are at their most exposed whilst removing the oil as it takes some time to achieve this.
With the cost of oil on the up, the prospects for this crime continuing are going in a similar direction. Be vigilant out there!
