Stalker was amazed to read about the prospect of luring tourists to mushroom farms in Taiwan.
Could it ever happen here? Stalker seriously doubts it. But then again in France, the cave system that was once used to grow mushrooms, in the Loire region, and is also used for wine storage, has proven to be a draw for touristos.
Stalker was also intrigued by the notion of mushrooms grown in outer-space bags-" in order perhaps to suggest its extreme usefulness for cultivation and production, even in future outer-space territories."
The Taiwanese are certainly looking ahead with this cultivation technique. Next tourist mushroom farm on Mars perhaps? Don't miss the illuminating article in this issue.
