Angela Kennedy, co-founder of biotechnology company Megazyme International, has been named chairman of the board of An Bord Bia. She replaces Philip Lynch who held the post for the past ten years.
A native of Tipperary, the company she co-founded specialises in the development and manufacture of high purity enzymes, test kits and reagents for the food, feed, dairy and beverage industries.
Bord Bia has responsibility for promoting and developing the marketing of Irish food, drink and horticulture.
