Passing by a large mushroom house before Christmas, one of Stalker's spies was amazed to see vista of white through the wide open doors.
Thinking that it was a spectacular second flush, our agent had a second look. There wasn't a mushroom bloom at all – rather the house was chock full of turkeys, the blanket of white feathers causing the trompe l'oeil.
With supermarkets cancelling orders for mushrooms over Christmas, here was one grower who was ahead of the game.
