It's hard to believe that the international publication Mushroom Business has been going now for a year. Congratulations to the team involved in producing this excellent, independent magazine for growers.
Issue number 7 in October 2004 is packed full of interesting articles and features – cultivation tips; news from around the world e.g. oyster mushroom cultivation in Java; an insightful report from Iraq on mushroom growing in the post-war environment; an article on how electric stimulation of shiitakes improves yield and fruit bodies; and a wide ranging article penned by Henk Van Gerwen on the Irish mushroom sector.
All-in-all the mushroom business has become a must-read publication for those interested in keeping abreast of the issues currently pre-occupying the industry, locally and worldwide.
