JF McKenna Ltd , Harte Peat, Sylvan, and Walsh Mushrooms took 25 Irish growers to the Mushroom Days International Exhibition in Hertogenbosch, where a great time was had by all.
A complete program of events was arranged for the growers: visits to several local farms were organised to view the Dutch growing system up close and personal.
Entry to the exhibition was arranged for the visitors to check out the latest equipment and products, where JF McKenna Ltd flew the flag for Ireland with an impressive stand.
In the evenings, everyone got together for a great steak dinner (well nearly everyone thought it was great!......)
Finishing off the night with a quiet drink or ten in a local nightclub.
By the time the 25 visiting growers were ready to travel home some had learnt more about the local bars than the local mushroom producers.
