'Twas while touring around the beautiful Bear Island, Co. Cork, that Stalker spotted two mushroom industry men in July.
Reen man Eamonn Long was on the island with his wife Rose and family, getting a feel for some family history, as Eamonn's mother originally came from Bear Island.
Eamonn and family were taking the tour of the wee church on the island, dedicated to St Finbar the patron saint of Cork.
A wedding service happened to be taking place at the church, which was where Stalker spotted mushroom man number two, the seemingly ubiquitous Martin Holland. People are always reporting sightings of the fella out of the native surrounds in Castleshane, Co. Monaghan.
This small monastic setting of Gouganebarra is set to become possibly even more popular, as Pope John Paul II has been invited to the holy site as well, if he visits Ireland again.
Goes to show, the world is smaller than you'd think – you never know whom you'll run into while up or down the country.
