Fancom climate controls for Heveco Mushrooms Farms
The Fancom 765 computer controls system
From simple NATO bunkers to High Tech Growing rooms, Fancom has supplied Heveco Mushroom Farms with a variety of controls for their growing rooms. Heveco is the main supplier of mushroom products in the Netherlands .
The Heveco company produces phase II and III compost at two facilities in Horst. The Phase III compost is partially filled into their own shelf type growing rooms at two facilities. In one of these facilities Fancom 765 controllers control the production of fresh mushrooms in 7 growing rooms of 80 Tons, from spawn run in casing to harvesting. The other part is filled into trays for growing Phase IV into growing rooms. Here Fancom 765 controllers control the climate from spawn running up until inclusive pinning in 14 rooms. From this so called phase IV facility pinned trays are transported to specially prepared greenhouses, where the finishing of the harvesting phase takes place. Two facilities, with 10 large sections and with an average level of climate equipment, are controlled by Fancoms FCF mushroom controller. At another facility in Germany this phase IV compost is filled into more than 30 old NATO military bunkers with very basic airhandling units. The control of these facilities is executed by Fancom’s simplest controller FCT.
At all facilities Fancom’s F-Central PC Software is able to collect climate data and supply this information to the Headquarters. The diversity of growing facilities on the Heveco Farms is unique. There are few farms with such an extensive range of equipment in simple bunkers and high-tech growing rooms. Mushrooms prefer this superior treatment!
