Reilly Mushrooms Limited of Walderstown, County Westmeath are celebrating 30 years in the Irish mushroom business this year.
Founder Gerry Reilly gives an interview to Midlands Radio - he says Ireland’s mass exports to the UK make the industry particularly vulnerable to uncertainty over Britain’s impending exit from the EU.
He says 85% of Ireland’s mushrooms are exported to the UK, which means it’s at risk of potential border and transport difficultie.
