The mushroom industry sector in the Middle East is in its early stages . The sector is much behind compared to Europe ; our research group started its research in 1995 in cooperation with N.Ireland , Holland , Belgium research centres and Penn State University research department.
We are the leader in the field from this region, but still we need support to invest in the region . Here there are thousands of farmers interested in growing mushrooms . Monthly we receive through our local website www.memushroom.com, 30 - 40 applicants asking about growing rooms , phase III compost , phase IV “ KIT “ and to many other items related to mushroom cultivation . The region imports annually canned mushroom: about 50 000 ton canned mushroom, and 20 000 ton of fresh and dried mushroom ; with annual growth of 19% " per FAO " .
The corner stone for developing the sector in the region is the introduction of advanced composting plant , in addition to canning plant, and grow rooms for a satellite system network .
As per our plan the project shall be highly feasible , for many reasons :
No regional competitors , raw material are of local origin and low cost , low manpower cost and huge regional markets .
We hereby invite interested investors in the Middle East to approach such a strategic plant , to find out more attractions . For further details contact:
