On Thursday 21st May 2009, the All Ireland Mushroom Conference and Trade Show will be held in the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan. Promising to be the event in the 2009 mushroom calendar, the Conference and Trade Show will once again bring together growers, scientists and suppliers from all 32 counties of Ireland. Bord Bia is the main sponsor for the event.
The conference will include a varied programme of talks, poster presentations and workshops. Some of the topics under the microscope will include an update on recent research, alternative energy sources, market overviews, disease control and surviving currency fluctuations, amongst others.

’ event include representatives from AFBI, Bord Bia, CMP, DAFF, DARD, Dew Fresh Ltd, the IFA, Sylvan, Teagasc, and the UFU.
