In attendance at the ISMS Cape Town conference in South Africa, were many familiar names and faces from the mushroom industry from around the world. 

Some the notable Irish and UK attendees were – Mr and Mrs Ronnie Wilson; Jim Rothwell from Rothwell Mushrooms in the UK; Mark Walsh from Custom Compost; Stuart Whitehall from IPP; Robert & Katrina Woodcock from Traymaster; Mike Walton from Sylvan UK; Prof Skekhar Sharma Agri-Food Biosciences Institute and the Queens University, Belfast; Dr Helen Grogan – Teagasc Kinsealy; and John Collier from Monaghan Mushrooms.

Felix Lamber of Fancom, Mr Rajabi of Javeneh Mushrooms in Iran and Brendan McKenna of JF McKenna meet up at the conference.
