The 49th Annual Mushroom Industry Conference will be held June 10-12, 2007, at The Nittany Lion Inn on the University Park campus of The Pennsylvania State University.
The conference is designed to promote the exchange of ideas for mushroom production, research, technology and marketing. The conference kicks off Sunday evening with an informal social hour at The Nittany Lion Inn.
A banquet on Monday night will feature a variety of fares with an emphasis on mushrooms. These social gatherings will allow people to renew old friendships and make new acquaintances.
The conference offers a two-day business program embracing scientific and technical topics and practical aspects of mushroom cultivation.
Sessions have been organized with reputable speakers and panelists from academia and industry who will address a variety of subjects that are relevant to the mushroom industry of today and tomorrow.
